Looking for 1-2 people from each park to form a Dialogue Committee to relay suggestions and questions from residents for Jill to present to Board of Trustees.
Looking for other ways to disseminate information more timely in addition to RCA meetings. Need a volunteer to form an email contact list or monthly newsletter in addition to the bulletin.
The committee responsible for investing the $4M has decided to separate the monies into three parts. The first part comprised of $1M of the monies is to be kept liquid to be used at the Board’s discretion. The second part is to be kept less liquid. The final portion is to be invested in a long term instrument. All investments are supposed to be very conservative low yield but safe. Residents will receive a small reduction in their assessments because $200,000 will be used to defray the 2016 charges. The last element only applies to 2016.
At the trustee dinner two trustees were re-appointed–Scott Bray and Steve Kiel. Scott will be serving for a 5th consecutive term. Art Murray was nominated but 5 voted for Art and 20 voted for Scott. All 25 voted for Steve.
Suggestions for additional activities may be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
