MINUTES

RADBURN CITIZENS’ ASSOCIATION MEETING

Date: November 11, 2015

Time: 7:30pm

Location: Grange Hall

Number in attendance 15 headcount (15 signed in):

Quorum was not met

WELCOME AND CALL TO ORDER: Jill Davis

Pledge of Allegiance.

Minutes of October 14th were read.

TREASURER’S REPORT:         Marshall Chandler

Treasurer report was not provided this meeting. Will present at next meeting.

PRESIDENT’S REPORT: Jill Davis

Family Fun Fridays will commence December 4th from 7-9PM. Bring your own snack.

Next RCA Meeting December 9th.

Dec 12th Holiday Party at Railyard Tavern $45 per person for buffet dinner and beer, wine or soda and entertainment.

A fundraiser in conjunction with the Fire Dept #4 is being planned for wine and beer tasting.

The 3rd annual 5K is being planned for April 24 2016 by the Radburn School.

Trustees Report

13 Benches will be installed in the parks.

The tennis courts are almost complete. Will be ready for the spring or sooner if the weather cooperates.

Suggestions for additional activities may be sent to lovingmyoils@aol.com.

OLD BUSINESS:

For any sidewalk damage send pictures to David Bostock at the Grange and to the Mayor of Fair Lawn. The understanding is from the house to the sidewalk path it is the homeowner’s responsibility. The paths are Radburn/Fair Lawn responsibility.

NEW BUSINESS:

Election for new RCA officers held this evening.

Folks would like to see tennis court tournaments and tennis lessons offered.

Folks would like to see chess tournaments and golf outings.

Landmark submitted plans to the architectural committee.

A resident mentioned that Landmark is looking for a buyer for the Daly Field/Hayward Property to take over the development. A board of trustee said it is speculation.
